The Key To Stopping Anxiety Attacks

I know most of ya’ll have suffered from Anxiety at some point in your life. Most people worry too much and stress out about the smallest things, its common but i personally dont think its normal. Mindfulness needs to be there, but once you get past mindfulness people tend to stress and worry that’s when it becomes harmful. So the key is learning how to deal with Anxiety because to a certain extent we need it. For example, its perfectly natural to worry about the safety of young children or to have a hightened alert when you’re walking through the parking garage alone at night.

Like I said too much Anxiety can be a bad thing. If you worry so much that your hindering your normal daily activities, for example: you’re unable to sleep well, you can’t concentrate at work, constant negative thoughts, then you might be suffering from Anxiety. But dont worry just as fast as you made this problem grow you can get rid of it quicker than the orkin man can get rid of roaches.

Axiety Attack symptoms

The symptoms can vary but some of the most common signs are:

-Hyperventilation or feeling that you can breath and the your chest is tight!

-Heart palpitations with chest pains. Heart beats extremely fast.

-Nausea

-Muscle tension and twitching, like your eyes, arms, and legs

-Constant worrying and irrational fear that your going to die or get beat up, jumped, or mugged (i suffer from this..growing up on the East side of Cleveland, OH has this effect on you)

People who suffer from Anxiety Attacks, falling deeper into a downward spiral . If you suffer from severe anxiety or panic attacks, but don’t know it, you would start to think that you might have a serious illness, making you more anxious which in turn provokes more anxiety attacks. This can be a vicious cycle and indeed, most people who suffer from anxiety attacks dont even know that this bad repition of disabling effects are taking place

Steps To Take

Some of the symptoms may have been caused by a REAL underlying illness, although the probability is very low. Nevertheless, consult your doctor and request for a complete medical examination. You will not be able to start your recovery if you are still convinced that there is something physically wrong, so this step is very important. If the doctor does find a physical condition that is causing the symptoms then you may find that once it is treated and cleared up, the anxiety attacks will stop.

Above all, if you are given a clean bill of health, it will at least assure you and lower some of your fear.

Also some say you cant die from panic attacks some say you can. I say you can because might freak yourself out so much that it causes problems with other organs in your body. Iremember being a little kid raised by a single mother, I got into sports at a real late age. Well during the 9th grade i all of a sudden wanted to play basketball, so i went to the tryouts. Well when I got there I saw the competition and I was blown away, I thought there was no way I could deal with that. So I went to maybe 3 practices, and by this time I was at a point where I was so nervous and intimidated that I was constantly having headaches and stomache aches. Eventually after a month I quit going, because the Anxiety and stress got the best of me.

I went to the doctors because my stomach aches were so bad that i couldn’t eat and i was losing weight. The doc told me that I was so stressed that I had to much acid building up in my stomach and it was starting to form ulcers in my stomach. He said if i went on at this level for any longer I could have a hole in my stomach. After awhile the pain stopped and things were better. So that little feeling you feel in your stomach when you are nervous, shocked, or frightened that can be bad if you experience it to much. And thats exactly what anxiety is, Experience those feelings (stress, nervousness, shock etc, etc.) at an abundance.

You need to understand that the symptoms are caused by your body’s nervous systems being in a state of panic. Its suppose to feel this way when you are panicking or under threat. But to much is not good for you.

This is the TRUTH. It may not feel like it at that point in time, but its the truth. Believe in it.

You need to re-educate yourself that it is your thoughts and assumptions that are to blame for these attacks. work on your mind becoming more worry free and this will start your healing process. But you must change your mentality or else you can greatly injure yourself.

You are only boxing in your life more and more by HIDING from the fact the Anxiety can kill.

Accept that you suffering from anxiety attacks and do everything you can to overcome it, don’t run or hide from it…and certainly don’t fear it. This is the KEY to stopping anxiety attacks forever.
