When thinking about leadership I am surprised at how many people actually FAIL at this process. It seems to me that being a leader would be something thats easy to do, boss people around, and get the job done, right? If I read a book on leadership am I great leader? If I take a class on being a leader am I now qualified? The honest answer is no. read on to find out why, and what you can do to improve your leadership skills and someday become a great leader.

As you strive to someday be the leader in an activity in your life be it at work, a growing family, or thinking victoriously and starting your own business, you will want to be the best leader that you can possibly be. But this is not an easy task, because leaders are bred (in my opinion) not born, and heres my logic. Regardless of your background if you invest your time on leadership building activities you can someday be a success at leading others. With that being said heres 11 Ways you could be a leader and lead the world.

• 1.The Responsible Leader- with this type of leadership you must realize that if those who follow you fail, it is you (the leader) who has ultimately failed. you must take responsibility of all your actions and the actions of your followers. All failures and mistakes must be accepted fully and wholeheartedly in order to not only learn but also to be respected by yourfollowers–key point, if you aren’t responsible and you pass your problems down to your people you will not stay leader for long.
• 2. The Decisive Leader- How in the hell do you think you can lead and you cant make decisions, that’s like trying to play quarterback with a broken arm, it’s not going to happen. Leaders just make decisions for their followers. Great leaders all trust in the successfulness of their decisions. If you are indecisive not only will you not trust your own judgement but your followers will think poorly of you as well.
• 3. The SelfControlling Leader-Let’s say you are running a very popular home based business web site that makes money through advertisements, and product sales. You run this business with a younger friend of yours that’s aspiring to be as successful as you are. If you guy’s made a budget but you go outside the rules of the budget on a daily basis what type of negative example do you think you’re passing on to your “follower”. People who can’t control themselves most definitely can’t control others, practice what you preach. Get The Picture.
• 4. The Cooperative Leader- Like Ronald Reagan says “Great Superpowers Value Cooperation”. To be a great leader you have to be able to cooperate with your followers, peers and counterparts. And not only must you learn this great skill but you must also instil the same qualities in the people who follow you.
• 5. The Courageous Leader- Courage is the one quality needed in absolutely every type of leader. Actually this bullet is so fascinating that i believe every human should be courageous at all times,(I know we cant be courage at all times becaue that would make us a superhero, we’re not trying to be superheros just great leaders. With no courage how can you have self- confidence or self-control? Be courageous especially in the face of those who try to emulate your qualities.
• 6. The Integrity Leader- As a leader you have standars that are set above those below you. Which means at all times you must have integrity. You must do whats expected of you at all times even when no one is looking. If you do extra work with no reward feel proud and keep it up because that’s your duty as a victorious leader. according to thesaurus.com the definition of integrity is: Moral or Ethical Strength, thats a staple we should all strive for.
